Children don&#8217;t need to bring anything, and they don&#8217;t need to know what they want to work on. This is where we get to know each other and decide together whether this is the right fit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-base-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-2 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"background-color:#ae99a6\"><strong>Observation.<\/strong> Around five sessions. I spend this time getting to know your child, how they play, and where they could use support. This phase is rounded-off with a parent meeting to discuss the observations and treatment objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-base-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-3 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"background-color:#ae99a6\"><strong>Treatment.<\/strong> Around 15 to 20 sessions, working one to one with your child. Parents will be invited for 1-2 consultations, depending on the progress. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-base-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-4 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"background-color:#ae99a6\"><strong>Closing.<\/strong> One or two sessions to bring the work to a close in a way that feels complete for your child. This includes one final parent consultation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Practical details<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sessions are 45 minutes and cost \u20ac90, which includes session documentation and five parent consultations. The first consultation is free. Parent consultations can take place in Dutch or English. For play therapy sessions, children do not need to be proficient in Dutch or English. In my experience, language proficiency does not hinder the therapeutic process, as children naturally find their own ways of communicating and expressing themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Blossom Space is affiliated with the Dutch Federation for Play Therapists (NVVS) and the Federatie Vaktherapeutische Beroepen (FVB). As a registered NVVS member, my sessions may be partially reimbursed through your supplementary insurance.
